Conyers Events and Festivals

Conyers is known for historic Olde Town, Georgia International Horse Park, and the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. Olde Town brings together the historic depot, locally owned restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The horse park and monastery are separate driving destinations, so allow time for each instead of treating them as one downtown walking route.

Two days is a useful starting point: spend one exploring Olde Town and another visiting the monastery or an event at the horse park. A third day gives you more flexibility for a guided program or nearby heritage-area outing. Match the itinerary to actual opening arrangements and event dates rather than assuming every activity runs daily.

Olde Town is compact enough for a walking visit after you arrive, but Conyers attractions and most hotels are spread out. A rental car or planned rideshare is more practical for a leisure itinerary. Regional Xpress commuter buses are not a hop-on sightseeing service; check current routes, operating days, and return trips before relying on transit.

Spring and fall generally offer more comfortable conditions for outdoor walks than the heat and humidity of summer. Schedule a trip around your preferred activities rather than a fixed weather promise. Check forecasts before the horse park or a trail outing, and consult official calendars for seasonal celebrations because dates and programs change.
